Pasquerilla Center for the Performing Arts This state-of-the-art concert hall located on the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown campus, houses a 1000 seat European-style concert hall with balcony, orchestra pit, and two private boxes, an art gallery, and a 250-seat black box theater.

The Johnstown Symphony Celebrating its 75th season, the symphony is the sixth largest orchestra in Pennsylvania and performs at the Pasquerilla Performing Arts Center. The symphony presents a seven concert series, pop concerts, a Christmas concert, and occasional touring concerts throughout Western Pennsylvania.

The Arcadia Theatre The Arcadia Theatre in Windber, a bedroom community to Johnstown, seats 710. Recently, $3.2 million was spent to return this theatre to its 1921 luster.

The Mountain Playhouse The Mountain Playhouse is Pennsylvania's oldest professional stock theater and only one of eleven professional summer stock theaters remaining in the United States today. The 393-seat theater is housed in a restored 1805 gristmill overlooking a lake. Enjoy dinner at beautiful Green Gables Restaurant adjoining the theater and visit the Jenner Art Gallery, located in the theater lobby, featuring the work of area artists.

Community Arts Center of Cambria County The Stutzman Log House is the oldest original log house in the Johnstown area. It is now home to the Community Arts Center of Cambria County. Adjacent to the log cabin is the Goldhaber-Fend Fine Arts Center, which offers monthly exhibitions, special events, and festivals.

Cresson Lake
Playhouse A non-profit organization begun in 1974, offers a Children's Theatre, four main stage productions, a Youth Theatre, and the JP Alexander Playhouse at Cresson Lake. This is a heated and air-conditioned pre-Civil War barn that seats 200.

Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art An accredited American art museum, this museum displays 19th and 20th century American art. It is located in Loretto and has branch at the Pasquerilla Performing Arts Center.

The Bottleworks Ethnic Arts Center This is located in the Cambria City area of Johnstown, PA. The mission is to preserve and celebrate the cultural diversity of the peoples of this region through their arts - such as music, dance, costuming, food, ways and literary traditions.

Laurel Arts Located in Somerset, PA at the Dressler Center, this organization sponsors exhibits, concerts, lectures, classes, and workshops for adults and children.

Youth Programs The Johnstown Symphony Orchestra sponsors the Youth Orchestra, The Children's Choruses, Young People's Concerts, and the Young Artist Competition.

Sunnehanna Country Club Sunnehanna Country Club hosts every summer the Sunnehanna Amateur Tournament for Champions, a nationally known stroke play tournament for the best amateur golfers.

Inclined Plane The Inclined Plane is the world's steepest inclined plane where a ride on the cable-pulled cars offers a sweeping view of the city.

Flood Museum The Flood Museum is located in downtown Johnstown in the former historical M. Glosser Library. Striking state-of-the-art exhibits and an Academy Award documentary by Charles Guggenheim pay fitting tribute to Johnstown's recovery.

Johnstown FolkFest The FolkFest is a nationally recognized Labor Day Festival that attracts over 100,000 to a weekend of music and ethnic food.

Cambria County War Memorial The Cambria County War Memorial hosts a variety of events and offers a full calendar of concert performances. The War Memorial is also home to the Johnstown Chiefs.

Point Stadium The Point Stadium is the home of the nationally known All-American Amateur Baseball Association tournament. The Point also hosts high school sports year round.

Fishing There's a season for every hunter from whitetail deer and bear, to rabbit, squirrel and turkey. The best fishing is found at
Prince Gallitzin, Glendale Lake, Duman Lake, and Lake Rowena. The best trout stream considered by many in Cambria County is Chest Creek.
